squidoo internet marketing

Squidoo.com is a social website where users can build web pages, not
websites. There aren't the usual tabs, buttons, and links, but there
are pages with lots of functionality. If you're looking to build some
free web pages that have one theme, you can network your pages by
having text links on each of your related pages.

But what about internet marketing? Squidoo is great for internet
marketers because it allows users to quickly create and edit Squidoo
"lenses," or web pages. Squidoo also enjoys a top ranking in Google,
so "Hurray!" for search engine optimization (SEO).
In using Squidoo, you will want to create a lens that pertains to a
particular niche market if you expect to get traffic. When creating
your lens, be absolutely sure to use keywords (what Squidoo calls
"tags"), keyword phrases, and long-tail keywords in your content. In
fact, you should also use your main keyword as the title of your lens.

You can also use your blog for content on Squidoo. You can use other
people's blogs, too. All you have to do is to upload your blog posts
to your Squidoo page. Keep in mind that your blog posts should be
loaded with your niche keywords; therefore, some of your SEO is
already done. Additionally, to enhance your page, you can add an RSS
feed for your fans. This will provide them with automatic updates of
what you discuss on your lens.

If you want laser-targeted traffic using you Squidoo page, then create
a product review (after all, your Squidoo page is free, so why not use
this as a marketing opportunity!). This way, whenever someone searches
for a review on the product you're selling, they will end up on your
page and purchase your product through the link that you provide.
A final tip is to publish uniquely written articles that cover the
themes and products of your website to your Squidoo lens. In your
articles, be sure to use keywords as anchor texts to link back to your
website (Remember that we are always thinking about SEO). When posting
your articles to your Squidoo page, you need to post each paragraph as
a new "module." Last, it is key to make sure that each article is
already written and SEO friendly when it comes time to publish.

As a final note, keep in mind that Squidoo is free...so don't abuse
it! This means don't spam Squidoo.com. If you do, you may find
yourself banned, or even worse, rejected by other users and browsers.
In essence, there's no faster way to drive away business than to spam
your potential customers.
